What is a shrine to Juuhachi without some fanart? Now, the fan art section is going to be small until people submit more to me. There's some stuff I've done, mostly sketches, and then some very nice sketches my friend did for me. So check it out. ^_^
crappy sketches by me
Wearing a kimono: I forget if I drew this before she joined the New Saiyan Army or not. Either way, an early, crappy sketch that I never finished.
Anger!: At some point, there were two Juunanagou in her life. Dealing with the both them through role-playing was pretty intensive, and so much so, it led me to scrawl out this angry drawing. Everyone used to be saying stuff, all in Japanese, but I erased it cause it's written in the most basic, gaijin way. Basically they were all telling each other to piss off. lol...
Juuhachi goes...punk?: This is the lamest of lame. The stupidest picture I ever drew, but I can't help from posting it. I thought it would be "cool" if 18 was a little badass so I made her have a spiked-out punk rock vest and steel toe boots. Note she also has brass knuckles for some reason. REALLY LAME. But I MUST post it...
With a drink: There was a phase in my rpg Juuhachi's life when she was kind of rowdy. Here she is with a beer in her hand, I think.
The Ladies of the NSA: When 18 first joined the NSA (New Saiyan Army), there were two lovely saiyan ladies she got along with quite well, Jayd and Naa. Annoyingly, the two of them both became a little...odd and eventually left. This one is actually in color and again, pretty crappy. 18's got a horse face, lol.
#18 and #21, sisters: Yes, in my rpg, Juuhachi had an adopted cyborg sister. Her name was Nijuuichi and she also ended up serving in the NSA with Juuhachi. Unfortunately, she disappeared. But this is a pic of the two of them, a total rip off of a Generation X foil cover before they had their own series. Heh...
Nijuuichi up close: Nijuuichi was into purple...she had purple hair. She kinda looked like Sailor Saturn. I drew a bunch of pictures of her one day...and this is one of my favorite sketches, which doesn't say much about my skills. -.-;
A kiss: This is a very rough sketch of my rpg Juuhachi in the arms of the emperor. You can tell who the emperor looks like if you look hard enough. ^_~
Wearing another kimono: After she became Captain of the Imperial Guard, she started wearing kimono more often. Another crappy sketch, her body is too short, and it's sketched over an animal head, but I really like the way her face and shoulders came out.
pimpin sketches by Terri Delgado
Early sketch: Terry was/is in our rpg group, so one day she gave me a sketch of 18 (as Captain of the Guard, thus the strange outfit) having some ice cream. She hates her early sketches, since her style is different now, but I DID ask to post these! Mwuaha!
Wearing a kimono: Another early sketch, but I really liked this one. I asked if she would mind drawing 18 in a kimono and she said "sure." This is the end product, but Terry still hates it. Heh ^_^;;
Halloween!:Again, an early sketch, but I LOVE this one. She decided to sketch 18 wearing Goku's DBZ outfit and vice versa. Very cute stuff, if you ask me...but for youse guys who know nothing about our rpg universe (and that is like 99% of you) sorry if it's confusing.
EoNVS Plushies: Once more, an early sketch. Here are some plushies made by the "SomeManiacW/aPencil Corporation." There is 18, Gokou, a saiyan in the army called Tarakoto and the latest Captain of the Imperial Guard, Juusan-gou (#13) in his informal outfit. The person at the bottom is Terry's saiyan character, Ichigo. Again, sorry to everone not in the know. I <3 this pic though. ^_^
Magazine Cover Take #1: Now these sketches were done recently (like May '03 recent). I asked Terry if she would want to do a sketch for me of 18, like she were a model on a magazine cover, for the new layout of Cyborg Memoirs. So she did and made about 4 different sketches of a modernly dressed Juuhachi. This is one of my favorites of the bunch. ^_^
Magazine Cover Take #2:Here is the 2nd cover, with Juuhachi toting a great hat. This ended up being "the picture," but her hair was too long for my tastes and it was parted on the wrong side, so Terry said she'd redo it (takes 5 to 7). I love the look in her eyes. Very sultry.
Magazine Cover Take #3: Neither of us thought this one was the right look we were going for, but the picture itself is nice. 18 is wearing a ball gown with her hair pulled back. I think if we could see more detail of the dress and her hair was done up in a more elegant manner (not just pulled back), it would be a beautiful outfit. Buuuuut, we were going for a current look for the "magazine cover."
Magazine Cover Take #4: This was another one I really liked. The pose was wonderful and I really liked what she is wearing in the sketch. I just thought she should be looking more at the camera, which Terry replied saying she was. O,O; I guess it just needs to be colored to really notice...or maybe it's something like her eyebrows need to be more...up or something. I couldn't tell you. Still, another awesome drawing by Terry. ^_^
Cover 2, revision 1: So we went with cover 2, but her hair was parted on the wrong side. And I wanted more of a paperboy cap instead of the feather hat (though the feather was tough). Terry did this sketch, but then I decided that her hair should be shorter.
Cover 2, revision 2: Here is the new sketch with shorter hair. Terry decided to make her eyes more like how 18's eyes look in the series. I preferred the first revision's eyes but I dug the shorter hair...but her hoop earrings were missing and now there was something funny about her neck. Something was off and we couldn't tell what. I suggested maybe it was the upturned collar making things look weird.
Cover 2, revision 3: Ok! This was the last revision. She put the collar down and the hair is short and this that and the other thing. She changed the position of her hands a bit, too, but it STILL ended up looking somewhat...off. I started thinking that maybe the original revision was the way to go, with the longer hair...but by this time I think Terry was kind of drained and I didn't know what it was that was "wrong" to tell her to fix. She's the artist, not me. So the whole project kind of halted there. Hehe, but it'll start up again. I do need a cover page for my writing site's new layout.
Ok, I think everyone should know by now that taking someone's artwork, posting it up on your own site and not crediting the artist is bad. If you want to use the pictures done by Terri, I suggest that you ask her for permission. The same goes if you want to use mine, though I doubt you do. And IF I find someone using the pictures here without permission, all hell will break loose. Oh, and by the way, if you want to see more of Terri's mad crazy good artwork, check out her gallery on deviantArt.
a drawing by Anna Coleman
The Emperor and Empress: This is a picture that my boyfriend asked someone he knew to do for us. It depicts Juuhachi, as empress, and the saiyan emperor, Gokou (not the same Goku from DBZ) in their usual "on-duty" uniforms. Gokou is holding a scouter in his hand. They both have much more ornate uniforms and armor, but like I said, this is just a more casual version they wear daily when there are no big conflicts (like uhhh war). Thank you Anna! Please, if you wish this picture to be taken down, just ask.
fine fanart by Stephanie J.
Tough Guys Prefer Androids: "This was my first attempt at drawing the happy couple. You might notice that the image looks a little grainy. That's because I'm not that good at CGing. I like the fact that he's a really short guy with a girl that's taller than him. That's why I posed them back to back to make the height difference stand out more. I actually gave it a title. I call it, "Tough Guys Prefer Androids", sort of a play on that old movie titled "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes"."
Suspicion: "I was thinking that I'd try to draw the lovely Ms #18 with longer hair on this one just to see if I could change her appearance a little and have it still be obvious that its her. I put 17 in just because I think he's a cutie. I also had a title for this one. I called it "Suspicion" because they look like they're waiting for someone to attack them or that they're about to do something sneaky themselves."
saucy fanart by Jennifer
Kuririn & c18 oekaki: Just an oekaki sketch, but a very pretty one. I love the expression on 18's face and the fact that she's back to back with her man.
#18 in sepia pencil: Saucy! A look of passion and a sexy dress make for a great picture. I love that it's done in sepia also. <3
A Family Photo: Love this picture. This is a shot of the whole family with #18 looking quite good. LOVE the clothes she's wearing and the "up" do. I think I can say that we, the fans, have firmly established #18 as a fashion diva.
Girl Talk: Another picture of #18 looking fantastic. Here it looks as though she's giving some womanly advice to her daughter, Marron. I wonder what about...
How I Became What I Am: I saw this picture sitting in Jennifer's gallery and just went "wow." Really stunning. Powerful. Needs no words. Just go look.
This girl has way more fanart, good racy fanart, but I only wanted to take a few of my faves...and that is what she offered for me to take anyway. So if you want more, check out her deviant gallery right here.
OMGWTFAWESOME!! fanart by Steve UPDATE!
sketch: See, my boy Steve is all about art/drawing like my girl Terri is. But my boy Steve NEVER shows me what he does. So one day he decided that he needed to draw more females, and who better than my rpg version of #18, since he is also part of my rpg (just like Terri is, too). This is the sketch he took a pic of with his digital camera and sent to me. I was stunned.
colored!: Later that day he sent me this pic, the completed version, shaded and colored by hand. I was even more stunned. I love this picture of her. Love it.
I'm a CYBORG!: Out of the blue one day, Steve tells me he has a present for me, and sends me this hilarious image. He soon thereafter made it into a wallpaper for me, which is available in the media section.
Sooo cute!: Then, after a bit of prompting, he sent me this image, which is possibly the cutest picture of 18 I've ever seen.
Yeah?: Later on he sent me this, as well. Surly lookin 18 at her best. ^_^
