OMG I met famous people! Er, famous on the internet, that is. At AnimeNEXT 2003, I ran into VegettoEX and his girlfriend Meri, the webmasters of Daizenshuu EX and Temple O' Trunks, respectively. This year, at AnimeNEXT 2004, I joined VegettoEX, Meri, and DaizenshuuEX's 2nd webmaster, Julian, for a Dragonball fan panel. We all shared a room together, along with an AMV buddy of theirs, McKeed. It was a TON of fun, and we spent a lot of time goofing off and making terribly bad Dragonball jokes. Below is a bit of our craziness captured on film...

mp3s - Now, you should all know by now that you should only be keeping these mp3s as a sample, and then buying the real CDs they're from. However, buying Japanese Dragonball Z soundtracks is somewhat difficult if you don't have the resources (like Yahoo! Japan or a legit retailer), and most likely the CD you bought off eBay or in Chinatown is a bootleg of the real thing. SO, if there is any problem with anyone, you should email me about it. For all you fans, though...enjoy! ^_^

• Jinzouningen Machi E (March of the Jinzouningen): 4:37 length. This is my favorite BGM from Dragonball Z. It's soooo good and evil sounding and Vejita is getting pounded by Juuhachi to this music. It plays throughout the Cyborg/Cell saga and in the Trunks movie, too. Good stuff!
• Perfume No. 18 ~Dangerous Fragrant Mix~: A peculiar, sultry kind of R&B song (kinda) that is enjoyable on it's own...but it has "No. 18" in it, so it makes me think this is supposed to be a song about 18 or from her point of view or something...and if that's the case, it's a weird song (considering half the words in the song are really suggestive). This song doesn't play anywhere in the series or in any movies, but you can find it on the DBZ 18 and 1/2 Special Super Remix CD. You can find the lyrics right here.

Bruce Faulconer CD - Perhaps some of you know by now that Bruce Faulconer, the composer for FUNimations dub of Dragonball Z, has his own CDs available of his compositions. And apparently, Juuhachi is one of his favorite characters because he and Meredith McCoy, #18's US dub voice actress, co-wrote a song about her. Meredith McCoy actually does the vocals, too. Along with that track is a 25 minute medley track of all the android saga music called "Android Compendium." It's pretty good stuff. The lyrics to "Android 18" are quite intersting, as well, and you can read them here. It's unknown if that is Meredith McCoy on the cover (McCoy's mother left an entry in my guestbook saying it wasn't her). The CD ranges from 15 to 18 bucks, depending on where you buy it (from Suncoast or Bruce Faulconer's official site...or somewhere else even). You can listen to sample tracks right here. ♥

Sorry, I tricked you. There aren't any real videos here. Yet. Just a cosplay video, and one I'm not certain about posting here on the shrine. Actually, I am certain. This is a video taken by the wonderful Chocobo Rancher (posted here with his permission, of course) of my first participation in an anime convention masquerade (AnimeNEXT 03 to be exact). Guess who I'm cosplaying? Ohhh yeah. You know. :D It's nothing too exciting or especially clever, but I'm proud of it. And the music rocks harder than your mom. You can't deny it.
